happy day! Emma got her driver's license! Afterwards her tester came up to me and said, "I usually don't talk to the parents, but your daughter just did an excellent job! She was so observant at every intersection." of course, I still need a text every time she arrives somewhere safely, but when I'm anxiously waiting, I can remember those kind words and I feel a little better :)

guess who's driving?

WOW! It's crazy to me to think that she is 16. I was going to write you back a awhile ago but never did. I did get GREAT practive watching your kids and loved it too. I also want to let you know you guys helped me a ton at the time I needed it the most! Thanks so much. I don't even want to think about where I would be with out you and Dan giving me some extra love and always making me know you cared.
get outta town! seriously? congratulations emma! for the license and for making me feel pretty old right about now. thanks. and for the record, i could still drive cloverdale road to my house with my eyes closed, although it's not recommended. :D
Congrats! My mom was always relieved when another one of her children got a driver's liscence, because it meant fewer trips to the grocery store for herself! I loved the post about Isaac, too. I can't believe he's 7! Happy Birthday to both!
